While there is a whiff of pumpkin spice in the air, it’s not quite fall yet (unfortunately). But, don’t despair, that means ripe melon season is here! And if you’re hosting an end of summer bbq, that makes it the ideal time to make this Cantaloupe Feta Salad.
The perfect balance of sweet and salty, this salad makes a great pairing with any protein for your bbq or picnic. Hydrating and light, the juicy cantaloupe ends with a salty bite of crumbled feta cheese. It’s all rounded out with the bright flavor of fresh mint.
Plus, this salad couldn’t be easier to make. Made up of only 6 ingredients, you’ll have your lunch side ready in no time. Just chop up your cantaloupe, whisk up a quick dressing, and serve with a garnish of fresh mint.
While everyone else slaved over their soggy pasta salad for the backyard bbq, you’ll be able to waltz in feeling as refreshed as the Cantaloupe Feta Salad you made 10 minutes before. And not that it’s a competition, but you’ll be the winner in this situation *wink*.
